We are pleased to inform you that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHS) has approved a rate increase for Personal Attendants under the Primary Home Care (PHC) Program.

Effective September 1, 2025, the new pay rates will go into effect. This adjustment reflects the state’s recognition of the important work you do every day in serving our clients with dedication and compassion.

At Angelitos Primary Home Care, Inc., we are committed to ensuring that our employees receive not only fair compensation but also a supportive and professional work environment. Dear Team,

We want to take a moment to address some important developments that could affect you directly.

As you may have heard, there are upcoming changes in state reimbursement rates for home care services. These changes have caused some less reputable home care agencies to aggressively try to recruit attendants from other providers, including ours. In some cases, they may offer higher hourly pay to encourage attendants to transfer clients along with them.

We want to be very clear:
Transferring clients from Angelitos Primary Home Care to another agency in exchange for higher pay is considered illegal solicitation under state regulations.
These actions can jeopardize your job, your standing with the state, and may carry legal consequences for both the attendant and the agency involved.

We understand that everyone wants to earn fair pay for the important work they do — and we support that 100%. Instead of risking your career by engaging with these outside offers, we encourage you to come to us directly. If you're considering leaving due to pay, we invite you to speak with us first. We value your dedication and are willing to explore pay adjustments where appropriate.

Angelitos Primary Home Care has been a trusted, family-based agency for over 25 years. We take pride in our integrity, the families we serve, and most importantly — the amazing attendants like you who make it all possible.
