🌟 Meet Mari Mosley: Our New Assessment Coordinator for NHI!

We’re excited to welcome Mari Mosley to the Nurturing Homes Initiative team as our new Assessment Coordinator! Mari brings a strong educational background with a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration and a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in Child Development.

Mari’s passion for early childhood is rooted in her belief that every child deserves a strong start. She loves diving into policy, data, and research to figure out what’s working, what’s not, and how we can create meaningful solutions that support kids, families, and educators. As she puts it, “the data tells a story, and I want that story to lead to positive change.”

Mari is excited to bring her expertise to NHI, where she sees the perfect opportunity to use data-driven insights to strengthen the initiative and help it grow. We’re thrilled to have her on the team and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make!

Extension’s Nurturing Homes program is celebrating the enduring legacy of Louise E. Davis, whose vision for training early childcare workers has shaped generations of educators. Approximately one year has passed since the children of Mississippi and those who educate and care for them lost an advocate and champion when Dr. Louise Davis died July 10, 2024.
