It's time for our weekly introductions! Meet Adriann Lewis. She is a Certified Nurse Midwife from Great Falls who has been helping us out part time. She's currently mostly in the birth center and clinic settings, but hopes to be taking call at Community Medical Center by early 2026. Welcome Adriann!

"I have been married to my best friend for 18 years and mom to four incredible kids who fill our lives with energy, laughter, and endless sports schedules. I currently reside in Great Falls on a ranch that has been in our family for over 150 years. Becoming a midwife has been one of my greatest joys — walking alongside families through the sacred moments of pregnancy and birth, especially in out-of-hospital settings, has deeply shaped my heart. My clinical focus has been postpartum mood disorders and helping mothers transition into motherhood. Life is beautifully busy and full of purpose, and I’m grateful for every bit of it.

I graduated from University of Mary with my nursing degree in 2009. I worked for many years in NICU and Labor and Delivery before returning back to school for my midwifery degree. I graduated from Frontier Nursing University in 2023 with my Certified Nurse Midwife degree and finished my doctorate earlier this year.

Outside of work I love to golf and spend as much time in the sun as I can. "

Hey all, welcome to a new weekly feature: Meet the Roots Team! We're starting off this week with one of new RNs, Callie Leiva. We're so luck to have her. Here are a few fun facts about Callie and her family!
– I lived in Costa Rica for five years, where I met my husband.
– We’re raising our two sons in a bilingual household, speaking both English and Spanish.
– I’m of Métis descent and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
– My own birth experience with midwives inspired me to become a nurse and share that same compassionate care with others.
– I’m a foodie and always on the hunt for great local eats!
– I love ’70s music and am jealous my parents got to see all the best concerts!
– You can usually catch me outside in my spare time gardening, walking, or relaxing by a body of water.

We'll be back next week with another midwife, nurse, CPM, or MA intro!

🌿 I’m so happy to be joining the team at Roots Midwives (again!) and Origin Health as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
I bring 13 years of experience in midwifery—mostly in birth center settings—with training across different models of care, including home and hospital birth in British Columbia, where I earned my Registered Midwifery degree.
Beyond midwifery, I’ve recently opened a new integrative women’s health practice at Anderson Integrative Medicine, where I offer:
✨ Osteopathic treatment for pain (especially in pregnancy & postpartum)
✨ Support for hormone balance and thyroid optimization
✨ Craniosacral and osteopathic care for newborns after birth
I’m also a mom to a sweet and spirited 10-year-old, and I’m truly honored to walk alongside families during such a meaningful time.
Looking forward to supporting you through your journey 💛
