Upcoming postpartum group topics! We meet every Wed 11-1. Thanks to the wonderful Kate Besleme, CPM for organizing such amazing groups and topics. New this month, we're inviting pregnant folks to join for the May 6th birth stories group. Please know that these stories will be UNFILTERED, but a great opportunity to hear other people's experiences, as well as do a little wisdom sharing!! Not sure if this group is for you, feel free to reach out! We're happy to answer any questions

Come check out our first birth story sharing from 11-1 pm at the Missoula Birth Center! This postpartum group is designed to be open for anyone at Origin Health (Roots, Trials, or MFM patients) to share their real birth experience while others support, listen, and reflect. Stories may include hospital births, birth center births, first or subsequent births, VBACs, planned or unplanned cesarean sections, and more. Storytelling is a powerful way to allow the birthing person to share their journey through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum in their own words. A gentle caution that these stories may be raw and unfiltered - please consider abstaining if you do not have the space to hear potentially difficult or traumatic birth experiences.

This Wednesday, our postpartum group will be all about infant massage! Bring your baby and a blanket, we will provide massage oil (though feel free to bring your own if you'd like). As always, our weekly postpartum groups are free and open to anyone who birthed with Roots, Origin Health, or Trails OB/GYN. Pre-crawling babies and independent siblings only please, we're not set up for crawlers/toddlers! Any questions? Drop them below or call the clinic! See you on 2/18 from 11-1pm in the Missoula Birth Center!

We are so excited to announce the roll out of group prenatal care. Group prenatal care has been shown to improve pregnancy outcomes and provides folks with a unique opportunity to make lifelong connections with other new (or experienced) parents. Curious? Our first cohort will be for September due dates, and each month we will add an additional cohort (October gals, you'll be next!) All you traditionalists, have no fear- we will continue offering our regular prenatal visits for those who prefer individual appointments.

Questions?? Drop them in the comments below or reach out to our office to learn more.

Big news folks! We're now offering a weekly postpartum support group for any moms who had their babies with us (or any of the Origin Health/Trails/Roots providers). No need to sign up ahead of time, just come and meet us on Wednesdays from 11-1 in the Missoula Birth Center (1st floor of Building 2 on the CMC campus) for a casual gathering of postpartum moms and their babies. Older siblings are welcome as long as they can entertain themselves independently during the group. First Wednesdays of the month will be an opportunity to share and listen to birth stories. Questions? Email Kate@originhealth.com or drop them in the comments! Hope to see you there ❤️
