Congratulations to one of our exemplary aides, Jonny Lerner, who is this year’s Declin Ermer Memorial Aide Award recipient. Jonny consistently leads with kindness, respect, professionalism, enthusiasm, and initiative within the clinic every day embodying Declin’s spirit. We are glad that he is continuing his academic career here at UM for PT school and can’t wait to see what great things he accomplishes in the future.

More on the Declin Ermer Memorial Aide Award below:
Alpine Physical Therapy honors Declin Ermer, a former Aide who consistently demonstrated kindness, respect, professionalism, enthusiasm, and initiative within the clinic. He participated regularly in Alpine events, always with a smile on his face. Declin exemplified leadership qualities in the community, at Alpine, and at the University of Montana where he was dedicated to the pursuit of an education in Health and Human Performance. Declin’s goal was to one day become a physical therapist. He tragically lost his life during his final year of college at the University of Montana on November 9, 2022.

The Declin Ermer Memorial Aide Award is $250 award given annually to recognize and support one of our valued aides, like Declin, who help make this world a better place. The intention of the award is to assist with basic academic expenses (i.e. books or fees) in the pursuit of a degree in the field of healthcare.

We’re highlighting Dr. Allix Huse and her return to work as a new mom.

“My experience returning to work at Alpine after maternity leave has been nothing but positive. Returning to work was a challenging transition for me as a first-time mom. Alpine allowed me to gradually increase my hours while my son adjusted to daycare, which made the process much smoother for our family. Their continued compassion and flexibility through this period has meant a lot to me and I am so thankful to be a part of a workplace that shows genuine support.” -Allix

Congrats to Allix as a first-time mom and we are proud to support our working parent employees!
