Providence Urgent Care – Southgate is now open in Missoula, offering care for conditions that need prompt attention but are not life-threatening.

Medical Director Dr. Phil Haggerty says the clinic helps bridge the gap between primary care and emergency services, treating illnesses and injuries such as infections, cuts and minor fractures.

Urgent care is often faster, more convenient and less expensive than visiting an emergency room for minor conditions.

The clinic expands access for residents in the south Missoula area and Bitterroot Valley.

Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula has added a new outdoor terrace to support patients receiving inpatient mental health care.

The space is designed to promote calm, connection and healing, offering adolescent and adult patients access to fresh air, scenic views and a quieter environment outside traditional clinical settings. The terrace provides an opportunity for patients to reconnect with themselves and experience the benefits of nature as part of their care.

The project was made possible through the support of a private donor, reflecting a shared community commitment to mental well-being.

Providence Primary Care -- Florence is pleased to welcome Courtney Kerr, FNP, who is accepting new patients.

Courtney earned her nursing degree from Montana State University and her advanced practice degree from Gonzaga University. She brings strong experience in cardiology and critical care, along with a passion for primary care, prevention and patient education. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and supporting whole families.

Courtney is excited to serve the community for years to come. Outside the clinic, she loves fly-fishing, snowboarding and exploring the outdoors with her family.
