Welcome (back), Ethan Pyron, DPT!

Some of you may remember him from his time at Sapphire as a student physical therapist, and we are excited to now welcome him officially to our clinical team!

A little about Ethan:

Ethan was born and raised in Frenchtown, Montana. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Montana where he graduated with his Bachelor’s in Health and Human Performance and Master’s of Athletic Training degrees in 2023. He most recently graduated from UM with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Kylie, their two French Bulldogs, Huck and Finn, (all pictured) and both of their families.

He also enjoys weightlifting, basketball, and slow pitch softball. In the summer you can find him on the Clark Fork River or Flathead Lake.

Be sure to say hello when you see him around the clinic!

John Fiore, PT, fabricates custom orthotics on-site using the Amfit 3D system to ensure accuracy and comfort.

A comprehensive foot-ankle and gait evaluation determines which orthotic type is right for you.

Orthotics can be made from soft, medium, or firm EVA material or low-profile carbon fiber.

Every pair of orthotics is truly custom, with no off the shelf, one size fits all products.

Contact John with any questions (john@sapphirept.com) or call our office (549-5283) to get scheduled.

You may have noticed some new faces in the clinic the last few weeks.

We are very excited to have Sadie Erickson and Skye Everett, two third year doctoral students from , completing their final clinical with us.

Sadie grew up in Minnesota (but go Packers!) and Skye is a Missoula local (Go Griz!).

Both are off to a great start and we can’t wait to see how much much they grow as clinicians over the next few months!

Proper hydration keeps your energy levels up, helps prevent fatigue, and boosts focus—

even during the shorter, darker days of winter.

Aim for 1/2 your body weight in ounces a day,

(so if you weight 150 pounds, you’re shooting for 75 ounces of water)

but listen to your body.

You might need more depending on activity level or environmental factors.

Stay hydrated, stay healthy!

Despite the lack of snow in the valley,

skiers are enjoying a decent season.

The two best ways to ensure your ski season is fun and safe are to begin the season with a solid strength training routine in place,

and have your bindings adjusted by a professional ski technician.
