"I am excited to get this program going," - New Stepping Stones Patient

Acknowledging a struggle with addiction is never easy. Taking that first step toward recovery is often the hardest step on the path to a better life. As we kick off Missoula Gives, let's start by celebrating the 130 people who began their journey to recovery by walking through the doors here at Stepping Stones Behavioral Health for a substance use disorder assessment

Missoula County Justice of the Peace Landee Holloway was honored as the 2025 Recovery Advocate of the Year by Stepping Stones Behavioral Health Services. This award recognizes Judge Holloway's 30+ years of dedication helping individuals in the criminal justice system address addiction and build healthier, more stable lives.

Before becoming a Justice of the Peace, Judge Holloway was a felony probation and parole officer. During her time on the bench, she worked with a team of professionals to develop ROAD Court, a treatment and accountability program for misdemeanor DUI offenders in Missoula County. The program focuses on holding individuals accountable for their actions while also supporting their recovery journey.

Congratulations, Judge Holloway!
