Memorial Day ceremonies start with a sunrise service honoring those men and women from the military that made it home but died from su***de (7am at Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery. SPEAKER: Anton – Vet Center & VFW Commander. TAPS will be played and a wreath will be laid by members of the VFW Honor Guard. The remaining services are throughout Missoula starting at 9:30am at the VFW Post 209, 245 W. Main St., Missoula followed by many other ceremonies at parks, bridges, and cemeteries. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. According to NCBI, about 41% of veterans have a mental health need. Research shows that Restorative Yoga is a great practice to help "reset" the nervous system.
