From Montana to Lesotho 🌍💙
Drs. Mariel & Ben Bryden and third year residents Drs. Niky Green & Ceely Heck spent the month with the LeBoHa Family Medicine Residency Program of Lesotho. Ben and Mariel led OB ultrasound training for local providers and increased access to this technology across the country. More to come about this incredible collaboration between these residency programs!

We love ultrasound, and recently had a workshop focused on musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided joint injections! 💉💪🏼🦴

💡Fun fact: Each resident in our program gets a Butterfly ultrasound to take home and use for all 3 years of residency!

You might wonder how we spend time outside of work, check out three of our AMAZING residents who participated in the Rut this past weekend! This trail race out of Big Sky has distances ranging from 11k to 50k with a whole lot of vert! Ask anyone around here and they’ve heard of the Rut! Some of our wonderful faculty and many community attendings have also been known to make an appearance!

winter edition! Winter came and went in a flash this year, snow in town is already melted and heavy jackets are put away but it was gorgeous while it lasted. Do you prefer winter sports or summer sports? We’ve got them both!

We love OMT practice sessions! Residents learning OMT get to practice skills and learn new techniques… and volunteer residents/faculty get to lay down for an hour while getting a free OMT treatment. (a real win-win situation) Anyone can learn to incorporate OMT techniques into their clinic at our program with a dedicated OMT curriculum track or by attending choose-your-own-adventure didactics like this.
