Thursday already! The days are truly flying by with purpose. Today we kicked off our morning with uplifting manicures. Then our residents savored a delightful lunch consisting of chicken, stuffing, veggies, and peaches. Afterwards we engaged in spirited games of co****le and ring toss. To culminate our evening our residents indulged in a slice or two of pumpkin pie with whipped cream and participated in an exhilarating round and a half of Bingo. Numerous family visits made it a truly unforgettable day.

Happy Hump Day Everyone! We kicked off our morning with an uplifting baking class where we crafted scrumptious apple cinnamon muffins. A huge thank you to my dad's friends for their generous donation of apples that made this possible. Then, we had a great church service with Diana in A pod that left our residents feeling good. Thanks Diana for sharing your gift with us. Next, our residents indulged in a delectable lunch consisting of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, butter bread, and fruit that nourished our bodies. Afterwards, we had an exhilarating parachute toss game that brought out the kid in all of us. This was followed by an invigorating exercises class that got everyone moving and energized. To cap off our evening, we savored the mouthwatering muffins and played Bingo, feeling grateful for another day filled with joy and connection. It was truly a day filled with purpose and delight. We were also blessed with heartwarming family visits that made our day even more special.

What a fantastic Tuesday we had! We kicked off our morning with a meaningful 1:1 visit, followed by an exhilarating game of horse racing. Before we knew it, the time flew by and it was lunchtime! Our residents thoroughly delighted in the scrumptious pizza, fresh Caesar salad, crunchy cheesy bread sticks, and juicy peaches. We then energized ourselves with a refreshing half hour of group exercises, getting us pumped up for an enchanting piano session with Abbie. It was absolute bliss to have Abbie with us, spreading joy through fantastic piano music - thank you for the uplifting melodies! We'll look forward to the next performance till next month. To wrap up our wonderful day, we savored delectable brownies with creamy vanilla ice cream and enjoyed a thrilling game of Bingo. It was truly a day filled with joy and connection. Lots of fun family visits.

Good morning, everyone! What a glorious start to the day, 18 degrees this morning, a perfect reminder of the beauty of nature. Yesterday we began our morning with a math matching card game and Mardi Gras matching game, sparking joy and excitement in our residents. While we eagerly awaited our church services with Diana, we felt grateful for the opportunity to connect with our community. Thank you very much, our residents were truly uplifted by the experience. Then, our residents savored a delicious lunch. Followed by our balloon busters games, which brought laughter and energy to our residents, inspiring them to move and groove. For snack time, residents indulged in peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and no-bake cookies, a sweet treat that brought smiles to their faces. To culminate our evening, we played Bingo, creating an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. We were blessed with numerous family visits, a heartwarming reminder of the love and connection that surrounds us. Stay warm and inspired, everyone, and have a wonderful day.

Good evening everyone! We embarked on an incredible journey this morning, discovering the profound meaning behind the Mardi Gras King Cake. Next, we unleashed our competitive spirits with a thrilling Margi Gras matching card game. Then, we took on the challenge of crafting not one, but two magnificent King Cakes. Although it was a labor of love, we persevered and achieved greatness. Our residents were then treated to a sumptuous feast, complete with Pork, brown gravy, veggies, pasta salad, and succulent peaches. After lunch, we continued to nurture our creativity, refining our King Cakes. With 30 minutes to spare before Cello music with Bethany and Dancing with Maeve, we chose to energize our bodies with an invigorating exercise class. Thank you, ladies, for an unforgettable experience. To culminate our extraordinary evening, we indulged in Bingo and mandarin orange cake. As the grand finale, our residents savored the King Cake for dessert after supper. It was truly a day filled with joy.

Friday we had our extraordinary Valentines residents family Party, a truly unforgettable celebration of love and connection. It was a resounding success, with 24 guests and 22 of our residents in attendance, not to mention our dedicated staff and Dave,Phil, and Connie our Musicians. We had a full house, filled with joy and warmth. I want to extend a heartfelt shout out to Jeff for the exquisite, beautiful meal you prepared for our Valentine's Party. You poured your heart and soul into it, and let me tell you, Jeff, you did an outstanding job. Families, residents, and staff alike were raving about the delicious cuisine. Thank you to our visionary leaders for lending a helping hand wherever it was needed. We are deeply grateful for your support. Thank you to our incredible housekeeper for going above and beyond, providing invaluable assistance. Kudos to Stefan and Cindy for their selfless contributions, helping to make the event a triumph. Thank you to the day shift team for helping our residents get dressed up in their Valentine's finery. We also appreciate Kirsten Kathy's daughter for her willingness to lend a hand. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Dave, Phil, and Connie for the fantastic music entertainment and Connie's hilarious jokes, which kept the party vibrant and fun. Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for this special moment. We had an absolute blast, and the memories will stay with us forever.

Edgewood Missoula would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Nancy Garcia's family for the exquisite fresh flowers, stunning vases, and delectable cake from Costco they so generously provided for our residents' Valentine's Party today. Our residents had an absolute blast creating their own flower arrangements in the vases yesterday. Special thanks to Debra for selflessly assisting our residents in bringing these arrangements to life. Debra, Nancy Garcia's daughter, is truly an angel. We are deeply thankful for everything you do, Debra. Debra and I had an incredible time at Costco selecting the perfect flowers and picking up the cake. Fun times!
