Good evening, everyone! We embarked on an incredible journey on Friday, delving into the significance of May Day and engaging in a thought-provoking discussion throughout. I brought Gray for Pet therapy, and our residents and families were treated to a heartwarming experience, savoring precious cuddles. Afterwards, we indulged in a delightful lunch. Following lunch, where we had had a great time enjoying acoustic music of Dave, Phil, and Connie. Thank you all for infusing our lives with so much joy. Thanks, Connie, for the fun jokes. The beautiful weather beckoned us outside, and we seized the opportunity to hold our theater class under the open sky. The Wicked Slippers was a fun play. Our residents reveled in helping shape their characters. To culminate our evening, we retreated inside and relished Refreshments to cool down, capping it off with an exhilarating round of Bingo.

Good evening, Everyone, we kicked off our morning with an incredible baking class where we crafted a copycat of cookie crumbles chocolate chip cookies, adding a burst of flavor with cranberries, and M&M's. Our residents were absolutely thrilled, giving them two thumbs up. Before lunch, we engaged in a thrilling game of War, and our residents had an absolute blast. Afterwards, we savored a delicious lunch, thanks to Stefan's culinary skills while our Dining Supervisor is on vacation. Thank you Stefan. Then, we stepped outside to bask in the gorgeous weather and indulged in our freshly baked cookies. To wrap up our evening, we played two exhilarating rounds of Bingo outside. What a truly fun day.

Good evening, everyone! Today was truly an uplifting day as we began our Tuesday by spreading joy through making and signing heartfelt cards for one of our residents. Then, our residents indulged in a delectable lunch featuring ravioli, side salad, mixed veggies, and garlic bread, accompanied by a refreshing side of pears. Thanks Jeff! Afterwards, I had the privilege of taking 6 residents to the beauty shop for rejuvenating manicures and shaves. To culminate our extraordinary evening, we played an exciting game of Bingo and savored delightful refreshments. It was wonderful to witness numerous heartwarming family visits. I have also added pictures from last week's baking class, where we created 6 magnificent apple pies for our residents' Birthday party last Friday, a truly wonderful celebration.

Happy Sunday everyone! On Friday we had our residents April birthdays and we celebrated Norma and Barbara's birthday. Our theme for the party was the Kentucky Derby, a truly uplifting experience. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jeff for the incredible meal that inspired our senses. Let's also applaud our residents for their remarkable teamwork in creating 6 delectable apple pies for the party, a testament to their culinary skills. We're deeply grateful to Barbara's husband, Wendell, for generously providing the stunning flowers that adorned our centerpieces A beautiful gesture that blessed our gathering. We also appreciate the invaluable contributions of Dylan, Brii, Stefan, our Day shift staff, and Cindy, who selflessly lent a helping hand wherever needed. Their kindness is a shining example of our community's spirit. It was a truly unforgettable party. We're also thankful to our residents and families who joined us on this special day, making it an unforgettable celebration.

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Yesterday we embarked on a truly uplifting morning filled with exhilarating games of ring toss and bowling. As we eagerly anticipated the arrival of our gifted musician Bill, we were treated to some fun acoustic music. Thank you, Bill, for generously sharing your remarkable talent with us. We all had an incredibly time. Our residents then indulged in a delightful lunch featuring chicken pasta, peas, side salad, butter bread, and peaches. Embracing the beautiful weather, we ventured outdoors for an invigorating session of knock that turkey down, arm exercises, and refreshing root beer floats, which brought immense joy and a sense of community to everyone. As the day drew to a close, we gathered indoors for a thrilling game of Bingo, accompanied by peanut butter cookies and revitalizing refreshments. It was truly a day filled with laughter, excitement. We were blessed with wonderful family visits.

Good evening everyone! Today we were truly blessed to start our morning with our sip and paint class with the incredibly talented Isabel, the Miss Bitter Root. We are forever grateful to Isabel for sharing her time and expertise with our residents, guiding them step by step to create a breathtaking sunrise theme. Our residents were beaming with joy and are already counting down the days until next month's painting class. Then, our residents were treated to a delectable lunch featuring bread cod, green beans, coleslaw, and carrot cake. Afterwards, we were serenaded by the soulful acoustic music of Dave, Phil, and Connie. We extend our heartfelt thanks to each of them. We had an absolute blast singing along and Connie's jokes are truly unforgettable. To culminate our evening, our residents chose to watch a movie, complete with popcorn and snacks. Cori, Kathy's daughter, suggested Fiddle on the Roof, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you, Cori! It was a day filled with love, laughter, and inspiration.
