Happy New Year!!!!

Take the time to appreciate everything you are thankful for from 2022.! Even those things that caused us pain have a lesson. It's up to us to seek that lesson. Always trust the process.

For some, this time of year, even in “normal” times, can bring about self-reflection, anxiety, loneliness, and depression. Feelings of grief may also be more pronounced when the absence of loved ones from annual events is present. We must check on our loved ones and support them during the holidays. Remember to practice self-care and not get caught up in material things. Take the time to create meaningful ways to appreciate those for who you care.

Don’t forget to take care of yourself during this holiday season. This can be a difficult time of the year for so many people, and people feel compelled to put on their ”mask of happiness” because they think that’s what people need to see.

We can slow down and take a moment to breathe and try some gratitude, meditation, or processing our feelings.

We can practice challenging our negative thoughts and being mindful that what we think isn’t always true! Selfcare = self-love!
