🌟 Human Resources Day Recognition 🌟

September 26 was Human Resources Day, and though we didn’t get the chance to spotlight our HR Director, Monica Smith, due to her many duties, we don’t want to let the moment pass without honoring her.

As we “Fall Back into Recovery” one last time, even though it’s October, let’s celebrate Monica and the incredible work she does for our Paradigm First Colony family. 🍂💙

Thank you, Monica, for your dedication, leadership, and heart for both staff and residents. We appreciate you! 🙌

🍂 Fall Into Recovery Spotlight 🍂

Today we are honored to spotlight one of our amazing residents, Mr. Andrew Stewart.

When Mr. Stewart first arrived at Paradigm at First Colony at the beginning of the year, he faced many challenges. He came to us after an ICU stay, with a brain injury, a PEG tube, and needing full assistance as a bed patient.

But through the grace of God, the dedication of our nursing staff, and the tireless work of our therapy department, Mr. Stewart’s story has become one of determination, strength, and recovery. Step by step, he has made tremendous progress—moving from total dependence toward normalcy and independence.

👏 We are so proud of Mr. Stewart’s journey and grateful to witness his resilience. He is a true testimony of our theme this month:
“Fall Into Recovery.” 🍁

At Paradigm First Colony, we believe every small victory is worth celebrating—and Mr. Stewart’s story reminds us that healing and hope are always possible. 💙

🎶✨ This past Saturday, we were truly blessed here at Paradigm at First Colony! A heartfelt thank you to Christ United Methodist Church for coming out and filling our halls with beautiful music. 🎵💙

Our residents were uplifted, encouraged, and reminded of the joy that comes when the community comes together in love. We are so grateful for your time, your voices, and your hearts! 💐

At Paradigm, we believe healing isn’t just physical—it’s emotional, mental, and spiritual too. Music and art therapy provide residents with a creative outlet to express their feelings, reduce stress, and find joy in their recovery journey.
