Our Story
We are a team of licensed clinicians working together to help children, teens and families. We specialize in Play Therapy, EMDR Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our office is a comfortable, confidential and safe place to overcome obstacles and renew hope.
Charlene Rogers is Owner and Clinical Director. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and is Certified in EMDR therapy. Charlene has expertise in working with children, teens and adults. She enjoys helping parents who have become overwhelmed with parenting. She has experience working with behavioral issues, anxiety, traumatic experiences, ADHD, autism spectrum, grief, divorce adjustment, school issues and improving social skills.
Sophie McCollum is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained in Play Therapy techniques, Trauma Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. She is a clinical instructor for at Baylor for social work students and a member of the Child Trauma Consortium. She has been a licensed clinician for 10 years. Sophie has expertise in helping children and teens overcome difficult experiences, grief, loss and anxiety. She facilitates a group for Middle School Girls and enjoys working with teens and young adults.
Judi Dai is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, Supervised by Charlene Rogers. She is trained in Play Therapy, has over 20 years of experience working with children and youth and is working towards full licensure. Judi facilitates Social Skills Groups for elementary school children and is skilled in Child Centered Play Therapy for children 3-11. Judi creates a strong therapeutic alliance with teens and helps them make positive changes.
