                                            HAPPY HEALTHCARE QUALITY WEEK!!!
Healthcare Quality Week is a dedicated time to celebrate the discipline and raise awareness of the positive impact those working in healthcare quality and safety have in their organizations and communities.
Did you know that Core Measures reported monthly by the Quality team include: Sepsis, re-admissions, hospital acquired pressure injuries, venous thromboembolism (in brief, blood clots), opioid at discharge and strokes? Did you know their CSH Quality Improvement Priorities, also reported monthly, include: Stroke mortality, VTE not present on admission, re-admissions (sepsis and heart failure), hospital acquired infections and patient harm indicators?
Our Quality team keeps our patients, staff AND visitors SAFE by utilizing data and information to help create preventative measures for the future! Here at CHI Health Missouri Valley, our Quality team's passion is apparent! And, not to brag (but we're bragging), the vast majority of our Quality Team is certified in their area of expertise by a national accrediting agency!!!
We are definitely blessed with the absolute BEST! THANK YOU, Quality Department, for all you do!
