Family, friends, and community—our Redd Mechanical team is reaching out with heavy hearts. One of our own, Romanique (affectionately known as “Cookie”), is facing significant medical challenges and needs our support. He is currenly at Utah Valley Hospital in ICU.

Cookie isn’t just a co-worker—he’s the guy who can brighten a room with his smile, always willing to lend a hand, and loved by everyone who knows him. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

We’re asking for your help to ease the burden of his medical expenses so he can focus on what matters most—his health and recovery. No contribution is too small, and every share helps us get closer to our goal.

February marks National Children's Dental Health Month, an important time to encourage good oral care habits in your children. Taking proper care of teeth is a lifelong commitment – one that begins with children and sets them up for success for years to come.

It all starts with the basics: brushing twice a day, flossing regularly, and visiting your dentist for regular checkups. Establishing these habits early on can help prevent cavities, tooth decay, and other dental conditions from taking root. Beyond this basic maintenance, there are other ways adults can help children take responsibility for their own oral health.

At home, it’s important to ensure kids have the right supplies and access to healthy foods and drinks that protect their teeth – like water or sugarless gum or snacks. Nutrition plays a significant role in protecting against tooth decay and promoting healthy smile growth.

Other preventive measures include using appropriate doses of fluoride-containing products and avoiding to***co use. As parents or guardians, it's essential to keep an eye out for signs of orthodontic problems that may require professional attention. Common issues include crooked teeth or crowding issues as well as gaps between teeth due to missing teeth or baby teeth that never fall out on their own.

We are so thankful for the fantastic people that work here! Last month Dr. Merrill (& Linda) took us to the American Dental Association's Smilecon in Las Vegas. We attended amazing classes, ate some delicious food, attempted to play Top Golf, and had a great time together!!!
