Elemental Massage by Chad Guyer

Elemental Massage by Chad Guyer I provide massage and bodywork based on a principle of movement, energy flow and structural function. Part of that may be your "element".

A one-man band providing massage tailored to the whole you, utilizing concepts of modern western massage and bodywork, Chinese medicine, feng shui, Reiki, astrology and metaphysical expression. Called "Body Insight" by the Healing Arts Institute where I was trained in CO, this modality looks at the multiple facets of dysfunction, including the body structure, spirit, emotion and mental beliefs (know collectively as "meta (mind) expressions". In the course of healing, if a person is stuck in a certain pattern, it can be helpful to examine other areas of our being to see if there are obstructions not being addressed and beyond the physical. Found in both Western astrology and Chinese feng shui, the elements can be a base from which to launch the investigations into the self, to facilitate the best healing and bodywork possible.

It's very hard to conduct a placebo-controlled, double-blinded experiment on the effects of massage. People tend to notice when someone is rubbing their leg. That has made it challenging to tease out what, if anything, is going on when you get a massage after a hard workout. Does it really help the…

I love every Pure Fiji product I have tried, but this one is a daily use product that I've found to be excellent. Though I've moved to Utah, I can service clients in MI with any products they might need! It just takes some time to get back there.
