**Reminder: Lifestyle Medicine 101 – The Science of Sustainable Health**

Join us *tomorrow at 5:30 PM* at **Moonflower Market** for a practical, science-based conversation about how everyday choices shape energy, metabolism, sleep, stress, and long-term health.

We’ll break down the core pillars of lifestyle medicine—nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, social connection, and risk reduction—and connect them directly to the biology behind how your body actually works.

This isn’t about perfection or extreme change. It’s about understanding the signals you send your body every day—and how small, consistent shifts can create real, measurable impact over time.

📍 Location: Moonflower Market
🕠 Time: Tomorrow at 5:30 PM

Ever wonder what “lifestyle medicine” actually is… and what we *do* all day? 🤔

Here’s the simple version:

We help you improve your health by working *with* your daily habits.

Lifestyle medicine focuses on the foundations of health:
🥗 Nutrition
😴 Sleep
🏃 Movement
🧠 Stress management
🤝 Connection
🚫 Reducing harmful habits

But here’s what makes *our* approach different:

We don’t just give you a plan and send you on your way.

We work with you over time—combining medical care with one-on-one coaching.

Think:
✔ Small, realistic changes
✔ Personalized to your life
✔ Adjusted as you go
✔ Built to actually stick

Because real health doesn’t come from a 2-week reset—it comes from stacking small wins over months (and years).

That’s why our memberships are the heart of what we do.

It’s ongoing, supportive care where we:
→ Help you figure out what matters most
→ Break it into doable steps
→ Stay with you as you build lasting change

No extremes. No perfection required. Just steady progress.

If you’ve ever felt like you “know what to do” but can’t quite make it work in real life… that’s where we come in.

Curious if this kind of support would help you? Check out our website www.elevatedhealthmoab.com or book a free consultation.

Almost didn’t post this…

But we love what we are doing!!!!!

We keep seeing the same shift happen with people we work with—and it’s honestly pretty fun to watch.

A few weeks in, things start to click.

Sleep improves. Energy comes back. The brain fog starts to lift a bit.

And what surprises people the most?

They’re not forcing it anymore.

They actually *want* to keep going.

A couple months in, it builds even more—
better focus, more consistency, and just feeling a lot more like themselves again.

No extremes. No crash-and-burn routines.
Just small changes that start stacking up in a real way.

If you’ve been thinking about dialing things in, this might be a good time to start.

Do you know that there are two types of fiber? Soluble and insoluble. Both have different benefits in your body! Most adults should aim for about 25–38 grams of fiber per day.

Together, these fibers support heart health, metabolic health, and a thriving gut microbiome.

At Elevated Health Moab, we help you:
✔ Learn which foods contain the most beneficial fibers
✔ Gradually increase your intake in a way your gut can tolerate
✔ Use nutrition to improve energy, metabolic health, and longevity

Small changes in what you eat can have powerful effects on how you feel every day.

🌿 If you’re ready to optimize your nutrition and your health, we’d love to help.

A Quick Clarification About Elevated Health Moab

We’ve heard a few questions in the community and would love to clarify who we are.

Elevated Health Moab is not a women’s health clinic, hormone clinic, or primary care practice. We are a Lifestyle Medicine practice serving adult men and women.

Lifestyle medicine is a Western, evidence-based medical approach that focuses on the root drivers of chronic disease through nutrition, movement, sleep, stress resilience, social connection, and substance risk reduction.

We do not replace primary care — we collaborate with it. Our goal is to complement the excellent medical care already available in our community by helping patients implement sustainable lifestyle change.

If you’re curious whether we’re a good fit for you, we’re happy to connect.

We’re excited to officially introduce ourselves as the women behind Elevated Health Moab.

We’re AngieAlexander, MD, and Jessica Walsh, RN — two clinicians who believe healthcare should feel personal, thoughtful, and grounded in real partnership.

We created Elevated Health Moab because we wanted to practice medicine differently. We believe in taking time. In looking at the full picture. In combining evidence-based medical care with practical lifestyle strategies that work in real life. We believe strength, longevity, and vitality are possible at every stage.

Angie brings extensive experience in comprehensive medical care and lifestyle medicine. Jessica brings years of patient-centered nursing experience, strength training, yoga, and a deep commitment to helping people build sustainable health from the inside out.

Together, we’re building a space where you’re heard, where your goals matter, and where your care plan is collaborative — not rushed.

We’re so grateful to serve this community and can’t wait to work with you.

If you’ve been curious about what we’re building, reach out. We’d love to connect. Or click on the link to schedule a free consultation.
