Why is early morning light important for your health?

Your body runs on an internal clock called the circadian rhythm, which helps regulate sleep, energy, hormones, metabolism, and mood. Early morning sunlight is one of the strongest signals to keep this clock functioning properly.

Just 5–10 minutes of outdoor light exposure shortly after waking can help:
• Improve sleep quality
• Increase daytime energy and alertness
• Support healthy cortisol and melatonin rhythms

How do you get your morning light?

Plant-Based Potluck — Come Hungry, Leave Inspired

At Elevated Health Moab, one of our goals is simple: help people discover how good it feels (and tastes) to eat more plant-based foods.

Not perfectly. Not exclusively. Just… more often.

We’re hosting a Plant-Based Potluck, and everyone is welcome—whether you’re fully plant-based, vegan-curious, or someone who just really likes good food.

We’ve noticed when people hear “plant-based,” they sometimes assume it means restriction or judgment. That’s not what this is.

This is about abundance:
Delicious food made from plants
Creative, satisfying dishes you’ll actually want to make at home
Community, conversation, and curiosity
Easy ideas to add more plants into everyday meals (without overthinking it)

You don’t have to eat any specific way to join us—just get creative and bring a plant-based dish to share. Maybe you even have something you're excited to show off??

Because the truth is: we don’t have to eat meat at every meal to feel satisfied, nourished, or excited about food.
