Although we are still hoping that they come to an agreement, MU says they are done negotiating. We will be reaching out to all of our clients soon to help you figure out if Anthem is still the best option for you. The good news is we have options and are happy to help you navigate this. This does not affect our clients with Supplements, only those with an Anthem Advantage plan.

Well we were so excited to attend our yearly Medicare AEP meeting this year in Columbia, MO that we forgot our annual picture by the sign!! 🙂 Last year’s picture will have to do!! We were there today learning about the new products and changes for our Medicare customers! We look forward to seeing our old and new customers as this season rolls around! As many of you know, Michael and I are opening a Doggie Daycare/Dog Boarding facility. We couldn’t be more excited!!! We hope to have it open very soon and just in time for summer vacation. We have had many people inquire so we just wanted to start answering questions people have had.

1. What is the cost?
As dogs are pack animals and we want to keep the pack as consistent as possible, we are going to start with offering 2 daycare packages.

1st package is 2 days weekly at $50 weekly
2nd package is 3 days weekly at $75 weekly

This will make it easier to plan for staffing and different activities for the dogs.

We will also do temperament testing to make sure the dogs are socialized and will be a good fit for the daycare.

Boarding will be $30 nightly.

Each dog will have their own (unless otherwise stated) large indoor kennel and individual outdoor run. We will give a discount for multiple dogs. We will also give a discount for Military, Law Enforcement and Teachers.

Since we can only have 20 daycare dogs per day (per city code) please message me to start scheduling your reservations. We will start offering tours very soon!

As we have learned over the last several years, our weather has been uncertain and unpredictable. As we enter Spring, here are some steps that policyholders can do to minimize the risk as we prepare for what “mother nature” may throw at us.

Inspect your roofs for damage, clean their gutters, and regrade soil to divert water from your home’s foundation.
Test your sump pump and recharge the battery.
Watch the weather and, if possible, place vehicles inside a garage or enclosed area.
If those are not available, purchase hail car covers or blankets, or in a pinch, cardboard boxes or towels can provide cover and protection.
