Mobile Dermatology specializes exclusively in medical and surgical dermatology. Providing advanced treatments for a variety of skin conditions including skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis, acne, and numerous other skin disorders.

Dr. J. Scott VanLoock, MD, FAAD is a Board Certified dermatologist specializing in medical and surgical dermatology. He was valedictorian of the 1995 graduating class at Spring Hill College in Mobile. He then attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine where he was valedictorian of the 1999 graduating class. Dr. VanLoock completed his internship in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Alabama and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Virginia where he was Chief Resident in 2003. He returned to Mobile in 2003 and began practicing dermatology. In 2008, he opened his solo practice, Mobile Dermatology, PC.

Madelyn King, MD is a Mobile native specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She attended the University of Alabama where she graduated magna cm laude in 2012. She subsequently attended medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors society and salutatorian of the 2016 graduating class. Dr. King completed her dermatology residency at the University of Mississippi. She is excited to be back home in Mobile and to provide dermatologic care to the Gulf Coast.

Brittany Johnson, CRNP is a graduate of the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Mobile. She has been thoroughly trained in Dermatology and has worked closely with Dr. VanLoock since 2012. She is currently accepting new patients and is available to assist in the care of Dr. VanLoock’s existing patients.
