As the 2020 pandemic exacerbated what was already a mounting crisis, many healthcare leaders and policymakers have called for new evidence-based approaches to treatment. It is important, and one of BHG’s core beliefs, to help patients remain connected to the care and support they need as their journey toward recovery ebbs and flows based on their own motivations, which is why we use the Integrated Dynamic Care Model. How does BHG treat Opioid Use Disorder?

BHG’s approach is to “meet patients where they are” and offer the level of treatment that is appropriate for the challenges they are facing. Our treatments get more intense when people have more acute needs, and less intense when their clinical situation stabilizes. The goal is to partner with patients throughout their recovery journey, offering what they need when they need it. To learn more, visit: https://hubs.li/Q01868KL0

Daily and weekly reflection is a great way to think deeply about what you’re grateful for and what difficulties you have overcome. At the end of each night, try and identify what good thing happened (your rose of the day) and what difficult thing you might have overcome (your thorn of the day). Reminding yourself of what you are grateful for and remembering how resilient you are can positively impact your mental health.
