When the world feels chaotic and heavy, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed, powerless, and maybe even hopeless.
We can’t control the world around us, but we can choose how we show up in the world.
Remember the ripple effect and think on the characteristics that you value – kindness, empathy, integrity, humility, self-awareness – and work on cultivating those in yourself.
Collective change starts when we are willing to do our own work, heal, and regulate our nervous systems.
This change will ripple out into our relationships and our communities.
The most powerful response to chaos isn’t being able to fix everything, it’s being a person who is able to be grounded and respond with clarity and compassion.

When I have a longer break between sessions, this is what I do. Sit on the floor, eat my lunch, do some stretches, catch up on the business side of stuff, journal, and plan. Self care is all the things that we know we’ll thank ourselves for later on, whether that’s later today, tomorrow, next week, or next year. How are you taking care of yourself this season?

Some risk factors of codependency include: Childhood trauma, neglect, or abuse
Emotionally restrictive parental figures
Family history of substance abuse
Unmanaged trauma
Chronic stress
Attachment issues as a child or young adult
History of domestic abuse
Chronic health issues or mental health disorders
Active substance abuse
