We have another Future Sonographer Friday (because Mrs. Davis forgot last week 🙂‍↕️), so here’s a double dose for y’all today!! We asked each student the following questions:
1. What has been your favorite part of the program so far?
2. What do you hope to achieve as a sonographer?
3. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Kasey’s response:
1. My favorite part of the program has been learning all things cardiac related and getting such a hands on experience from such amazing instructors as well as getting to know all my classmates that have become some of my best-friends over my time here at CVIU.
2. As a sonographer, I hope to apply everything I have learned from CVIU to make the most accurate images for the physicians I work with to aid in a good care plan for patients. I also hope to continue growing on the skills I already have and becoming a better sonographer.
3. In my free time I enjoy going shopping, spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and going to the beach or tanning by the pool.
Hannah’s response:
1. My favorite part of this program has been all of the hands on scanning experience and the amazing teachers! Everyone at CVIU is so welcoming and we all love to see each other succeed. It truly has become my home away from home. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!
2. My goal as a sonographer is to become double certified in cardiac and vascular. I also want to provide patients with the care and attention they need to make a positive impact. I strive to be and do my best no matter what the job throws at me!!
3. In my spare time I love to hangout with my family and friends!
Lauren’s response:
1. I have loved being apart of this program because it’s so cool and unique to see the heart in different views, and I love how small the community is allowing us to all be friends.
2. As a sonographer, I hope to continue to learn and grow my skills as I continue on in this career. I also hope to make a difference in the patients life when they come in for a scan.
3. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my friends and family, go to the beach, go to the lake, and just find anything relaxing to do.

It’s Future Sonographer Friday! Let’s hear from our students when asked the following questions:
1. What has been your favorite part of the program so far?
2. What do you hope to achieve as a sonographer?
3. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Judy’s response:
1. My favorite part of the program so far has been the incredible sense of community, everyone genuinely wants you to succeed, and the teachers are always there to support you every step of the way. I’ve also loved meeting new people and getting to know them; it’s made the experience so much more enriching and fun.
2. Short-term, I hope to pass my registry and keep learning as much as I can in the field. Down the line, I’d love to pass my peds certification and work in a children’s hospital, where I can make a real difference for kids and their families.
3. In my spare time, I enjoy watching new movies in theaters. It’s always exciting to catch the latest releases on the big screen. I also enjoy cooking, where I get to experiment with new recipes and unwind.

Camila’s response:
1. I’ve really loved the hands-on experience we get at CVIU. Getting to scan real patients and apply what I’ve learned has been so rewarding. The instructors and support here make the experience even better—I genuinely love this school and the family it comes with.
2. I hope to become a skilled and compassionate sonographer who helps patients feel comfortable while providing quality images that make a difference in their care.
3. In my spare time, I like relaxing or going out with friends/family.
Courtni’s response:
1. My favorite part has been the supportive and uncompetitive environment. Everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed- the upperclassman, and the instructors are always willing to answer questions, even outside of school hours. It feels like a community where everyone is there to lift each other up, and that makes learning so much more enjoyable.
2. I hope to become a skilled cardiac sonographer and eventually specialize in pediatrics. I’ve always loved the idea of working with children and being part of a team that helps get the care they need.
3. In my free time, I love building LEGO sets!

It’s Future Sonographer Friday! Let’s hear from our students when asked the following questions:

1. What has been your favorite part of the program so far?
2. What do you hope to achieve as a sonographer?
3. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Landre’s response:

1. My favorite part of this program has been getting to learn from such amazing people. I feel like in such a short time, I have been able to learn such a vast amount of information about the heart and sonography, but that has been made possible by the amazing instructors at CVIU.
2. I hope I make each and every patient feel seen and cared for on a personal level. I feel like any type of medical exam can be scary for those who don’t fully understand what is wrong, so I want to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
3. In my spare time, I love getting to hangout with my classmates that have become some of my best friends. They truly make the time spent here so much better.

Cayden’s response:
1. My favorite part of the program is that we have a comfortable learning environment and everyone has an equal chance to learn.
2. I hope to achieve a level of competency in my field so that others can look to me for help if they need it.
3. I enjoy getting together with friends to play board games and I enjoy taking care of my dogs.

Dajee’s response:

1. My favorite part of the program so far is seeing the structures of my own heart and also how helpful the teachers and students are.
2. I hope to become a very skilled sonographer and then eventually become a traveling sonographer to gain experience from different parts of the world.
3. In my spare time I enjoy crocheting and spending time with my family.
