Men’s Mental Health Matters

Too often, men are told to “tough it out” or keep things to themselves. But mental health challenges like anxiety, stress, and burnout are real—and seeking support is a sign of strength. At the University of South Alabama Psychology Clinic, we offer evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) specifically attuned to the needs and experiences of men.

CBT is a practical, time-limited approach that helps men build coping skills, manage emotions, and take control of their mental health. We provide a space where men can speak openly—without judgment—and work toward personal growth, better relationships, and improved quality of life.

Therapy is provided by advanced doctoral students under the supervision of licensed psychologists with expertise in men’s issues and masculinity. Services are affordable and confidential.
