Please join us on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 6PM as we have our free Community Acupuncture Clinic and also a few other treats to celebrate Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. You might be wondering why I selected the picture of the Mimosa tree to be on this flyer, if you didn't know, this plant is actually herbal medicine! It is one of my favorite herbs for anxiety and depression and it is found in abundance right here in the South. Please reserve your spot today for this fun event at the link in my bio!

The October session on 10/19 is filling up quick! Come out for a community style healing session! These treatments go deeper than my traditional Community Acupuncture Clinic treatments. These sessions include carefully selected acupuncture points, crystals, aromatherapy, embodied movement, and ambient soundscapes. I also pair this with a recommended book and self-reflection practice after each session. For more information, please visit

Hello Movement Monday! This next video is one of my absolute favorite Qigong moves-- The Dragon Dance. This one is a little more involved than the Meridian Shake but it is still gentle. Do not over-stretch or over-extend yourself on this one. Listen to your body and only go as far as you feel comfortable. I challenge us to follow this video at least 3 times this week. Are you ready to dance? :) Join me!

I love this stuff and it's a great deal! I have been using the Emily Hot Skin Soother on my face to reduce wrinkles and redness. I also use the Lavender scented one before bed. I have sample sizes in my clinic for $4.50 if you are wanting to try some before purchasing a larger size. They also have a pet shampoo that I use on Alfie for his dry skin. Love this company! How are we doing in the Movement Monday Challenge? We still have a few days until the next video and it's one of my FAVORITE Qigong moves! I can't wait to share it! Get ready to dance ;)

If you missed the announcement on Monday, I'm challenging us to get more movement into our lives. Every Monday I will be sharing a different Qigong video for us to practice during the week. The challenge is to do the exercise at least 3 times in the week. Easy right? The videos are typically short and do not require any sort of equipment. Don't worry, I plan on increasing the days further into the challenge but figured 3 days is a good start to create a new habit. This is just for our own personal gain--there is no actual challenge against others, so nobody is truly keeping score.

You still have a few days before the next video is posted, so... do you accept this challenge? :D

Welcome to Movement Monday! Every Monday I will post a different Qigong video to practice during the week to add movement to our daily lives.

What is Qigong? It is an ancient healing practice that combines slow, gentle movements, controlled breathing, and mental focus to optimize the body's qi (energy). It aims to improve and maintain health and well-being.

I am proposing a challenge of sorts. If you are someone who struggles to get movement in your daily activity or wanting something different, I challenge us to practice the video at least three times a week. It is short--less than 10 minutes, so it should be easy to get in during the day.

This first video and movement is an easy one. :) Enjoy!

We had another wonderful community clinic this week. And honestly, I feel this way every week; even when things go unplanned or unpredictable. However, one thing that is consistent that I see in each and every person that comes into the space is bravery.

Why do I see bravery in each person? Well it can be scary going to a place where you may or may not know anyone. It can be scary going to a place for the first time and not knowing what to expect. It can be scary doing anything for the first time. It can be scary not knowing what to expect with acupuncture. It can be scary sitting with your thoughts for a certain amount of time. It can be scary getting needled if you’re afraid of needles. Life can be scary. So I see bravery in each and every person who has been to one of my community clinics and even my private practice. I’m really proud of all of you. 💕

One thing I would love to create is a true space for community. I’ve been pondering how to do that with the community clinics. Yes, this is open to anyone in the community, but how do I turn this into actual community? We all exist in the room but I would like people to get to know each other and possibly develop friendships or at least feel like they are a part of something. I know it’s a little difficult to do this when community clinic is typically going into yourself to focus on you. And I don’t want to make everyone do introductions and fun facts around the circle. 🤣 that’s the introvert nightmare for sure. So I am trying to figure that step out. Perhaps it is holding events or opening the space earlier for those who want a sense of community; because I understand not everyone is looking for that and shouldn’t be forced into it during community sessions.

So all of this to say, thank you to all of those who have trusted me with your care. I am so incredibly grateful for you opening up and trying something you haven’t before. You are so brave and I am so proud of each and every single one of y’all.

Also, please breathe—I’m never going to make us sit in a circle and introduce ourselves and give a random fact. I’ve rather have another kidney stone (and I’ve had many). 🤣 I am open to ideas if this hope of creating community resonates. Please let me know if you have any ideas; I would love to hear them. 💕
