Exciting News from The Women’s Village of Mobile!
We are thrilled to finally announce our biggest kept secret yet🤫….Cindy Messer, CNM is joining our team!

She is the 🦋Matriarch🦋 of Midwifery in Mobile, having been the only provider to consistently offer expert midwifery services in our area. She has been getting oriented to the office and will be taking new patients NOW.

At The Women’s Village, we are truly committed to expanding midwifery care for our wonderful patients! We know how important it is for you to have a voice when it comes to your health. With the help of UAB’s NFP grant, we know there will continue to be more options for comprehensive care in Women’s Health!

Reading this through my tears…it elucidates what I have been saying since I have opened The Women’s Village of Mobile

What about the women and the children!?!? I am not only terrified thinking of who will be caring for my daughters when they start their family, but also all of the deserving women in our area! Something has to change before all of the good providers are choked out of this crooked system

Low compensation rates for labor and delivery have big implications for maternal and fetal outcomes in America.

Sharing this for our patients with Alabama Medicaid! So many people coming in are surprised their Medicaid is inactive so posting here to spread the word....renewal is JUST NOW necessary since the pandemic! Please check your insurance status prior to making or coming to any appointments. Although we are not currently accepting any more new patients at this time, we will continue to update you as our availability changes. Meet Dr. Holmes! 👋

Dr. Holmes lived in Arizona, Florida, and Maine throughout his childhood. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Hillsdale College in Michigan. His medical degree was obtained from the American University of the Caribbean in Saint Martin. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a current member, as well as a past President, of the Mobile Pediatrics Society.

Dr. Holmes and his wife, Angelique, have two daughters, Lila and Vera. He loves spending time with his family and Goldendoodles, Malie, Kona, and Hank. He also enjoys SCUBA diving, competing in triathlons, and shanking balls on the golf course.
