She provides psychological testing, psychotherapy and consultation services across the life span including pre-school, school-age, adolescence, adults and active seniors. Dr. Adams works with a variety of academic, learning and behavioral problems of childhood including ADHD, learning disabilities and processing disorders; developmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorders; anxiety, depre
ssion, mood and trauma-related disorders, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, work-related difficulties and personality disorders. She believes that psychological health and physical health are connected. Dr. Adams works collaboratively with various medical providers in the area to enhance mental health and physical health outcomes for her patients. She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has practiced psychology in Pennsylvania and Hawaii in a variety of settings including a community mental health clinic, several school- based mental health clinics, a boarding school health clinic and in private practice.
