performed Mobile's first open-heart procedure May of 1969. After almost 40 years of caring for more than 100,000 patients, Cardiovascular Associates, P.C., now has two locations with operating suites where numerous types of procedures are performed for patients. Our Mobile facility is conveniently located on Springhill Avenue in the vicinity of the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Our Fairhope facility is located on Highway 98. The Vein Center at Cardiovascular Associates, P.C. has clinics available at both locations and offers comprehensive treatment of vein diseases. Mobile Cardiovascular Imaging offers non-invasive studies of carotid arteries, aneurysms, peripheral arteries and the heart. Although many think of the physicians at Cardiovascular Associates, P.C. as heart surgeons, they also specialize in the treatment of the lung, esophagus, arteries and veins. Their backgrounds include training with the distinguished surgeon Dr. Michael DeBakey of Houston, attendance at various medical schools across the country, and yearly postgraduate courses. All are Fellows of the American College of Surgeons, and hold membership in multiple professional societies.
