Did you know that going to the restroom “just in case” can actually confuse your bladder? When you visit the bathroom without truly needing to, it trains your brain to think you have to go more often than necessary.

The adult bladder is designed to hold about 16 ounces of fluid comfortably for around 2-3 hours. By waiting until you genuinely feel the need to go, you can help retrain your brain and bladder to hold that natural rhythm.

Give yourself time between restroom visits, and let your bladder do what it’s built to do! Your body—and mind—will thank you. 💪🏼
