We are beyond grateful today! 🧡✨
An anonymous donor blessed PEIR with a huge donation of hygiene items, and our hearts are truly full.

Right before Thanksgiving during one of the busiest seasons of the year someone took time out of their day to pour back into our community and make sure our peers have what they need. Acts of kindness like this remind us why we do what we do. 🙌

✨🍁 PEIR Dothan Community Thanksgiving Lunch — TOMORROW! 🍁✨

We are so excited to welcome everyone to our Thanksgiving Lunch tomorrow at 2:00 PM! The building is almost ready, and the spirit of gratitude is already filling the room.

A HUGE thank you to our Program Director, Josh Burke, who has been working nonstop to make sure everything is prepared for our community. From planning to setup, he has poured his whole heart into making this event special for everyone who attends. 🙌

Shanteria, our Agency Coordinator, has been busy decorating and bringing the warm fall atmosphere to life and her daughter Abbigail insisted on helping too! She jumped right in with the team and added her own little touch to the decorations. 🍂💛

We also want to shout out Josh’s oldest daughter, Mrs. Sara, for jumping in and helping us finish up. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours.

People Engaged in Recovery was able to meet with a couple of the guys from the HBO documentary The Alabama Solution to discuss statewide policy change and law reform. Stay tuned for some big plans in the near future. There will be an opportunity to meet these guys in-person on Dec. 19th at PEIR|Brewton, where we will also have a Rights Restoration Clinic.
