Our hearts are officially full! 💕 We had the sweetest visitor at the clinic today.

Jleigh, one of our COTAs, stopped by to introduce us to her newest addition! Seeing our two COTAs together reminded us that Foundation Health isn't just a medical clinic; we’re family. That goes for our staff and every patient who walks through our doors.

It is also the perfect way to continue to celebrate Occupational Therapy Month! Our COTAs are part of the incredible hands-on force that brings our OT program to life. They turn "I can't" into "I did" every single day, and we couldn't do what we do without them.

Education is POWER 🤍 exciting for the world of lymphatic health!

Encouraging news for the lymphatic community.

Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have received $7.8 million in federal funding as part of a broader effort to better understand and detect lymphatic dysfunction — an area that remains under-researched and often difficult to diagnose.

Advancements like this bring us closer to earlier detection, improved care, and better outcomes for people living with lymphatic diseases.

At LE&RN, we’re encouraged to see continued investment in lymphatic research and the growing momentum to improve lives.

Wrapping up Lymphedema Awareness Month with our last CLT spotlight:

Meet Sara Beck! 🌟

"I love the lymphatic system. I like to say I’m a lymphatic therapist, not just a lymphedema therapist. I love how the lymphatic system has an impact on almost everyone and every condition in some way. It’s often the forgotten system. We have so much more to learn about this system and how it is so vital to our overall health and wellness. I enjoy playing a very small role in spreading awareness and helping others meet their wellness goals.”

We believe the lymphatic system is the "hidden key" to overall health. This often-overlooked system affects everything from inflammation to immune function, to scarring, to chronic pain. We enjoy helping patients find relief for conditions they didn't even realize were linked to lymphatic health.

When Sara isn’t working, she loves spending time with her family. She said she also LOVEs a good nap. 😴 🤪

Lymphedema Awareness Month might be coming to a close, but Saras mission to bring the "forgotten system" into the light continues every single day.

We are so lucky to have our team of CLTs! They, along with our entire staff, believe in holistic, best practice treatment! We love collaborating on how to better serve our patients! & of course, have some fun along the way! 🤍
