Since then, other programs have been added, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, and Advanced Nursing Assistant. We have certified many students throughout Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. We strive to become Southeast Alabama's leader in Allied Health Education. A&O Healthcare Institute provides a variety of professional allied health courses to help you get started in a new healthcare career. “This week, I honor the journey that led me to one of the most fulfilling roles in healthcare—not just as a nurse, but as a Nurse Educator. Every day, I have the privilege of guiding, mentoring, and inspiring the future of our profession. I teach those who dare to dream of joining this incredible field, and in doing so, I’m shaping tomorrow’s caregivers, leaders, and changemakers.

Being a nurse is a calling—but being a nurse educator is a legacy. It’s about passing on knowledge, instilling confidence, nurturing compassion, and reminding every student that their dream is valid, powerful, and within reach. I’ve stood at the bedside, I’ve worked the long shifts, and now, I stand at the front of the classroom to pave the way for others.

An integral part of Mobile county and in the past 8 years we have educated students in the Alabama, Florida and the Mississippi areas! We take pride in our demanding impact in students' lives in the past 8 years creating career and economic opportunity. AOHCC has also improved the healthcare job demand in the community!
