The Story of T Squared Fitness
The name idea came from a nickname I was given in high school by my ninth grade math teacher (go figure). I didn’t care for the name then, but it grew on me. I’ve been involved in sports and athletics my entire life. After graduating from high school I didn’t know what I wanted to do so I decided I would go to college to get a business degree because that sounded like the smart thing to do. I had just started thinking about competing in bodybuilding competitions so that’s all I could think about. Competitions, shows, new workouts, heavy lifting, all of the things that come with that life. Then I realized that I had to make money somehow and I figured personal training was one way to go, but I was scared to start. I put it off for several years until a very good friend of mine, who is also a personal trainer, sat me down and told me “Just go do the dang thing!” Well I took his advice. That’s when the vision I had of being a personal trainer and helping other people reach their goals while reaching mine at the same time became a reality. Through the whole experience of staring a personal training business and meeting so many hard working and determined people, I’ve been able to learn so much. This opportunity of becoming a personal trainer started in my mind as a way to produce income with the knowledge I had. After seeing my clients working hard and reaching their goals, my outlook dramatically changed. I no longer see personal training only as a source of income; I see it as my opportunity to reach out into the community around me and to help those in need. I love what I get to do everyday and it has been a blessing to see the whole story unfold. I know that this is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of this journey will hold!
