Our team got a wonderful surprise with cake, cupcakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, and chicken salad. Yes, I tried them all, but I don’t know who to thank! I hope the generous patient sees this. The cake is beautiful but was even more delicious!

When a happy patient returns for the other side, I get to post comparison pictures!

Visualizing the Cam Lesion and Post-Femoroplasty Resection

Red Arrow: Cam lesion with associated subcortical cyst. This is a hallmark of chronic impingement where the femoral neck "bumps" against the acetabular rim.

Green Check: The contralateral side shows the results of a prior femoroplasty. Note the restored "offset" at the head-neck junction.

The Takeaway: Restoring the spherical nature of the femoral head-neck junction not only relieves pain but removes the mechanical driver of cyst formation and labral tearing.
