If you’ve ever wondered who helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, say hello to Lauren, our amazing Medical Biller here at Bay Area Physicians for Women! 💕

👩‍⚕️ On the job: Lauren loves working with such an awesome team (her words, not ours 😉). She says one thing patients might not know is that billing really makes her the middleman, helping connect all the pieces together.

💪 What keeps her going: Her son, Tatum, is her biggest motivation every single day. 💙

📅 Experience check: She’s been in billing for 3 years and in healthcare since 2018, so she knows her stuff!

Maury is trading in her scrubs for snuggles as she takes some time off to welcome her little one! 💕 Don’t worry, she isn’t going anywhere, just hitting “pause” for baby cuddles.

She’ll be back in November, refreshed and ready to see all of her amazing patients again.

✨ Staff Spotlight: Meet Chelsie! ✨
If you’ve ever been in Dr. Herrera’s clinic, chances are you’ve been greeted by the warm smile and calming presence of Chelsie, one of his amazing nurses. 💙

Chelsie has been in the medical field for 6 years, and her journey started with a powerful experience. After delivering her son at Springhill Medical Center, she was so inspired by her labor and delivery nurse that she knew she wanted to give others that same sense of peace and comfort. And that’s exactly what she brings to our patients every day.

She loves working alongside Dr. Herrera, saying his humor is her favorite, and she appreciates how genuinely he cares about his patients' well-being. (We agree, he keeps us all laughing around here!)

Fun facts about Chelsie:
☕ Her go-to coffee order? Iced hazelnut latte with extra hazelnut and vanilla cold foam.
🐱 Team cats!
🧠 If she had a superpower at work, she’d want to read minds (honestly, that would be helpful).
👩‍👦 Oh, and surprise, she’s a proud boy mom to FOUR boys!

We celebrated our sweet Makenzie yesterday with a little baby shower love. 💙 🍼

Makenzie wears ALL the hats around here; office manager, supply queen, IT wizard, and the first to jump in and help with a smile. She keeps things running smoothly, so it was a joy to take a moment to celebrate her and the sweet baby boy she will be welcoming soon.

We’re so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to meet her little guy! 💙
