Today we’re turning up the fiesta and the physics at Coastal Ultrasound Institute 🎉📚

Who knew your abdominal aorta could be the real MVP of the party? While you’re thinking tacos and margaritas, we’re thinking flow dynamics, Doppler angles, and keeping that aorta looking nice and smooth 💃🫀

Our students are learning that behind every great ultrasound image is a little bit of magic… and a whole lot of ultrasound physics. From sound waves traveling faster than your salsa dancing feet to capturing real-time images of the body’s largest artery, it’s all about precision, skill, and just the right amount of energy 😉

So whether you’re celebrating with chips and queso or cracking open your physics notes, just remember:

First day of class and we’re still pinching ourselves 🥹✨

What started as a dream is officially a reality today, and we could not be more excited to welcome our very first class. Watching this come to life and knowing we get to be part of shaping the next generation of Sonographers is something so special 🤍

To our students… this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to get started, to grow together, and to watch you step into your future with confidence 💫

One more week until the very first day of class at the Coastal Ultrasound Institute and the excitement is building!

Over the past few days, we’ve been spending time getting familiar with our new ultrasound machines and preparing our scan lab for students. A huge thank you to GE HealthCare for helping us get comfortable with our new equipment and providing such great training and support along the way.

We can’t wait to officially kick things off and welcome our first class next Monday. Scan lab is almost here, and we are so excited to get hands-on and start this journey together!

Our grand opening for Coastal Ultrasound Institute was truly something special! It was incredible to see our vision come to life and to welcome so many members of our community into a space that represents growth, opportunity, and the future of healthcare education. From walking through the classrooms to seeing our new equipment and meeting the people behind the program, it was a proud moment for all of u!

This institute was built with purpose. We are creating a place where students can train in multiple ultrasound specialties, gain real hands on experience, and step into a meaningful career. Being able to share that mission with everyone who came out made the night even more rewarding!

We are so thankful for the City of Mobile, the Mobile Chamber, Selena Adams for the amazing catering, and the Azalea Trail Maids for making the evening so memorable. And to everyone who showed up to support us, thank you. This is just the beginning, and we cannot wait to see the impact Coastal Ultrasound Institute will have on future sonographers and our community!

We are still smiling from last night’s Open House at Coastal Ultrasound Institute! The turnout was incredible, and it meant so much to see so many future students, supporters, and members of our community come out to learn more about what we’re building.

A special thank you to WABD for coming out and helping us spread the word! Your support truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful to have you be a part of this journey with us.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead for Coastal Ultrasound Institute and the students who will walk through our doors!

Only 3 more days until our Open House at Coastal Ultrasound Institute and we cannot wait to welcome you in!

As we’ve been putting the finishing touches on our space, one thing that stands out is the meaning behind what’s on our walls. Every piece was chosen intentionally. The artwork you’ll see represents more than decoration. It reflects unity, teamwork, and the heart behind what we do as sonographers and as people who show up for others every single day.

The American flag hanging in our space is a reminder of something bigger than all of us. It represents service, sacrifice, and the freedom to pursue a career that makes a real difference in people’s lives. We honor those who respond in critical moments, working alongside healthcare teams to save lives. It’s a powerful reminder of why this field matters and how we are all connected in patient care!

This isn’t just a school. It’s a place built on purpose, passion, and people who want to make an impact.

One week out and it’s starting to feel real!

We’re officially 7 days away from the Open House and Ribbon Cutting at Coastal Ultrasound Institute and we would love for you to be there with us. This has been something we’ve prayed about and getting to open our doors to the community means everything!

If you’ve been curious about a career in ultrasound or just want to see what we’ve been building, this is your chance to come walk through the school, see our equipment, meet our instructors, and ask any questions you have!

We’ll also be hosting a ribbon cutting with the Chamber, and having local medical professionals and imaging leaders there makes it even more special!

Come by, bring a friend, and be part of the beginning of something really meaningful for our area and for future healthcare professionals!
