Bridges Against Domestic Violence in Mobridge (Bridgess Againstdv) operates a 24/7 crisis hotline at 605-845-2110 staffed by trained advocates who offer immediate crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals. Its services include emergency shelter for victims and children, personal and legal advocacy (including assistance with protection orders), case management, and educational outreach on domestic violence prevention.
Pretty Bird Woman House/Zintkala Waste Win Oti in McLaughlin provides emergency shelter and advocacy support for women on the Standing Rock reservation who have been victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. They can help with transportation, medical advocacy, court accompaniment, and referrals too. Reach out to 605-823-7233.
The Sacred Heart Women’s Shelter in Eagle Butte operates under the Sacred Heart Center, a nonprofit agency serving the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. It provides emergency housing, counseling, and advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and related trauma in one of the most underserved regions of the state.
