Join Rooted Movement for a day of family fun. Bring your snacks and coolers! Set up in our beautiful shaded picnic area as you sit back and listen to the bands of . Take a stroll around our venue and do a little shopping, support local vendors. Let's not forget about our plants! Check out all the succulents and plant cuttings we will have to trade. Never participated in a plant swap? Don't have items to share? Don't worry. You can always make a $5 donation to participate in the plant exchange.

No time to pack a picnic basket, leave the cooking to the catering company
Best BBQ in the valley! Variety of meat options and vegetarian options. Excellent sides, sauces, and soft drinks.

Here are some things you might like to know about the plant swap:

-Begins at 10 am
-Bring 1-5 cuttings (or more if you like) pest-free plants or plant-related items.

Examples of things you can bring:
cuttings, rooted plants, plant bulbs, used or new pots, baskets, moss, plant/garden-related tools ....

**Please bring your own box or bag to take your plant and rummage sale items home with you.

September is HERE!

We love a fresh new month and are so excited for all the fun things coming up, so, keep an eye out for announcements for events and community gatherings.

As a reminder, all of our yoga classes are beginner friendly and your first class with us is FREE!

Monthly memberships are available as well as non-membership punch cards (you do not have to be a gym member to join our yoga classes). All classes are accessible through Zoom and memberships for Zoom classes only are available to you.

So grab your friends, family or spouse and join us for some zen, we look forward to meeting you on the mat!

Hey hey hey Rooted Yoga Family!

Just a few announcements for the upcoming month:

Starting Tuesday, July 5, we will be introducing 2 new classes to our yoga schedule. These classes will be held in our beautiful outdoor area on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 AM.

Our new yoga schedule:

MONDAY:
11 am Yin - 8 pm Yin
TUESDAY:
10:30 Vinyasa - 8 pm Power Hatha
WEDNESDAY:
11 am Power Hatha - 8 pm Yin
THURSDAY:
11 am Yin - 8 pm Hatha

10:30 am Yin - 7 pm Vinyasa
SATURDAY: 10 am Yin

Also, we’d like to officially welcome Hannah to the Rooted Movement Family as she will be permanently teaching with us. She has been such an amazing addition to our space and we are all so excited to have her spirit and energy in the studio.

Join Rooted Movement for an evening of family fun. Bring your picnic baskets and coolers! Set up in our beautiful shaded picnic area as you sit back and listen to the bands of Central Valley Academy. Take a stroll around our venue and do a little shopping with the local businesses of Modesto. Let's not forget about our plants! Check out all the succulent and plant cuttings we will have to trade.

No cuttings? No problem! You can always make a $5 donation to participate.

If you want to roll up with your ice chest but no picnic basket, no problem! Leave the cooking to the catering company, MoonLight Barbeque! Best BBQ in the valley! Variety of meat options and vegetarian options. Excellent sides, sauces, and drinks.

We hope to see the community out supporting our small businesses. That's why we do this! To stay ROOTED!

Anything that has to do with plants will be at this event! We will have a few plant experts on site. If you don't have a green thumb, join us anyway and ask for advice.

Plant Swap Information:
We start right at 4 PM!!!

To help keep this plant swap smooth, we have a system that allows everyone a fair chance at cuttings. When we start the exchange, you will be able to choose one item per round (according to your group color) for 5 rounds, 60/90 seconds per round .... then free-for-all for any remaining items.
We do this to give everyone the chance to look over all plant items and choose pickings without feeling rushed. Also, to help maintain social distancing. Don't let this sound confusing, our lovely plant lady, Christy, will help all participants.

Hello Rooted Yoga community, Yogi Corinna here with a couple of announcements.

First, check out the changes to our yoga schedule for June. We’ve changed the class styles a bit from Hatha to power Hatha on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning and we now have Yin class on Sunday.

Second, as most of you know, I’ll be absent for the month of June so I’d like to take a moment to introduce our substitute yoga instructors.

You may remember Jenessa assisting classes last year and we are so happy to welcome her back into the studio. She begins teaching classes starting tomorrow.

We also have a new instructor temporarily joining our team, Hannah. She has been dedicated to her own practice for some time now and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and experience with all of you.

And we all know the lovely Dani, our weekend warrior. She will be filling in for a couple of classes. And of course, our beautiful Boss Lady, Mari will be leading her normal classes with her cute puppies alongside her.

So, please give our new instructors a warm welcome and join them on the mats.

I look forward to flowing with you all again when I return in July. Until then, have a wonderful start to your summer.

The weather is getting nicer and summer is just around the corner, who is excited for outdoor yoga? ✋🏽

Our instructor .corinna.garcia enjoys being outdoors and flowing in nature is definitely high on her favorites list, so, keep an eye out for our summer yoga schedule.
