This holiday season reminds us how much we have to be grateful for, especially our dedicated staff and partners whose efforts make a real difference and inspire us all to keep working together.
We are grateful for the impact our Enhanced Care Management (ECM) team is making in strengthening our community by supporting individuals through navigating medical, mental health, and social services that lead to greater stability, strength, and quality of life.

Our ECM staff witness powerful moments every day, like helping a family access medical support and safe shelter that helped them move toward a healthier life. This is the kind of care that lifts people and creates healthier futures for everyone.

This holiday season reminds us how much we have to be grateful for, especially our dedicated staff and partners whose efforts make a real difference. Today, we’re kicking off our 12 Days of Gratitude, where we’ll share our appreciation for the impact our agency's programs have on our communities.

We begin with our Sierra Vista Merced Program, a dedicated team providing behavioral health support to youth and families in Merced County. From counseling and prevention services to school-based care, our Merced staff works every day with their clients to heal, grow, and thrive, strengthening our community through their commitment.

Our Sierra Vista staff wrapped up the year with an exciting end-of-year celebration! We played games, honored work anniversaries, raffled off great prizes, and enjoyed a delicious meal. We also recognized our top performers for going above and beyond in their programs and the exceptional care they provide to the clients they support. Most of all, we celebrated the meaningful impact we’ve made together for the youth and families we serve.

Our Story

Sierra Vista Child & Family Services has been helping abused, neglected and emotionally disturbed children and families in crisis in California’s Central Valley since 1972. We do this through a series of integrated programs that include mental health services, early childhood services, special education, therapeutic residential treatment, adoption, foster care, clinical and family support in homes and schools, perinatal substance abuse treatment and community counseling. Our goal is to provide access to quality programs and services that make a difference to a child, their family, and the entire community.
