Sierra Vista Child & Family Services is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency that has helped children and families in crisis in California’s Central Valley. We have demonstrated the stability, reliability, and commitment necessary to tackle the challenging problems that emerge by staying

on the cutting edge of service delivery. We offer quality programs that meet the growing needs of thousands of people of all ages, Sierra Vista is a place of hope and healing in the Central Valley. Last week, we celebrated Valerie and the incredible impact she has made during her more than 20 years with Sierra Vista. Our farewell party was filled with laughter, memories, and gratitude as we reflected on all she has accomplished.

Through her leadership, Valerie helped strengthen our mental health services and expand the support available to children, families, and our community. Her dedication to quality care and staff development has touched countless lives and helped shape Sierra Vista into what it is today.

Thank you, Valerie. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you all the best in your next chapter.

This event is for all dads and their children ages 3–12! Join us for a fun-filled morning of connection, creativity, and hands-on activities designed to strengthen family bonds and create lasting memories.

Our Mentor Appreciation Dinner was a special evening celebrating the mentors who make a difference in the lives of youth throughout our community.

The evening gave mentors a chance to relax, enjoy a meal, and reflect on another school year together. As photos filled the screen and a video highlighted moments from the year, stories and memories came rushing back. It was a powerful reminder of the connections built and the positive impact mentors have on the young people they support.

To each of our mentors, thank you for showing up, listening, encouraging, and caring. Your commitment helps youth gain confidence, work through challenges, and see new possibilities for their future.
