🏥 Dr. Britiel Bethishou’s journey in medicine is coming full circle — starting her internal medicine residency at Sutter’s Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, just 30 minutes from where she grew up in Turlock.

FACT: Sutter Health is one of the first health systems in California to implement the latest da Vinci 5 surgical robot. Surgeons from Santa Barbara to Sacramento now use this state-of-the-art robotic-assisted surgical system for procedures in general surgery, gynecology, urology and more.

Expanded access to minimally invasive surgery close to home leads to less pain, shorter recovery times, and improved patient outcomes.

A cohort of 39 physician residents is coming to Sutter's Memorial Medical Center to begin their next step of medical training in June. They are the first to participate in our new physician residency programs in Modesto. Learn more: https://aol.it/44eXGwG.

Memorial Medical Center received national accreditation for the training programs in April 2024.

Community members near our facility may hear emergency vehicles or see additional activity near our hospital as a part of this exercise.
