CROSS Recovery Modesto

CROSS Recovery Modesto Keys to FREEDOM
Nehemiah took very specific steps to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem, Taken in order they will lead to FREEDOM from addiction

Seven Keys to Recovery
The Steps that Nehemiah took are very specific steps, very orderly and very effective! Taken in order they will lead to a full recovery of usefulness. All addiction is simply the manifestation of sin

If you listen to most churches, they use secular-sounding drug treatment verbiage in their ministry. The word "Sin' has been charged to disease/sickness. Once you remove sin f

rom a Christian's vocabulary and from the church's outreach approach to the lost, it becomes watered down and eventually non-effective. Acknowledging all substance abuse / drug addiction as sin is an addict's only real hope for recovery. Once we acknowledge and confess our addictions as sin, we can then repent and receive forgiveness, cleansing, and overcoming power for all of life's situations. By receiving God's forgiveness it will actually clear out conscience, which in turn, proves God is real, all powerful and loving. This IS the basis of Christianity. We cannot remove the power. People first need to identify their own substance abuse as sin so they can truly repent for it. If you leave out calling any type of substance abuse a sin then you have nothing to repent of and receive forgiveness from. God is not going to for HIs forgiveness or deliverance on anyone. The fact still remains; Jesus Chirst forgives sins today just as He has for over 2,000 years.

Todd Milton
Today at 12 noon California time, Todd's organs will be taken to save the lives of others. We ask for prayer for Todd's family, the recipient's families, and the medical teams involved.
God, as one life ends, we are grateful that many lives will be restored. Let the life Todd led for You, be evident in the lives of the recipients and their families.

CROSS Recovery Modesto is no longer meeting as of June 30, 2021.

We want to start by giving honor to the pastors who believed in us and gave us the opportunity to share our heart and passion for recovery with so many over the past 13 years.
Pastor Glen from The House Modesto and Pastors Kyle and Marcia from One Church, THANK YOU!
It has truly been our honor and privilege to see so many lives changed and set free from strongholds.
We have found ourselves in a season of life where God has made it clear that our first ministry needs to be our family and our relationship with Him and each other.
We want to thank the many who have been in leadership with us over the years, starting with the faithful few 13 years ago and growing as the years went by.
Every person who has crossed our path has a special place in our hearts and we will continue to pray for deliverance form strongholds.
If you need guidance or referrals or resources, we are still here and want to help you - send us a message.
We love you and pray blessings over your life,
Jim and Karen Pyatt
