Although the news can sometimes be wrong in its reporting Vacaville Fire didn’t pull the victim out of the water to provide rescue efforts.

On 8/10/2025 we were prvoding medical support for the Argyll Motocross at 9:45 am we were summoned to the pond area for a rider that according to an assistant at the location “hit hard” upon our arrival wich took about a minute we noticed bystanders in the pond trying to get the unconsious/unresponsive rider out of the water the victim was found in the reeds in the water. Ben imeadiatly grabbed our medical bag and i grabbed the backboard I then gave my phone to the race director to have her activate 911 as she was communicating with EMS we slid the backboard under the patient and removed him on the backboard from the pond. Once on the bank it was deturmined that the patient was in cardiac arrest with multiple trauma rescue efforts were initiated by myself, Ben (my partner) 2 trauma nurses and 1 nurse praciciner (bystanders) from the event. When the Ambualnce and Fire Department arrived we assisted them in providing rescue care to the victim. Though we all tried our best to revive him it was unsuccessful. The victim succumbed to his injuries Our hearts goes out to the victims family.

Greetings everyone

I just wanted to update everyone about our wonderful company as most of y’all may have heard that since the passing of Stephen Atkins back in 8/2022 we had an individual that had stolen a lot of money, equipment, supplies, contracts, from my company. Unfortunately it was an individual that Steve and I trusted and he took advantage of our trust. Leaving The Medics Plus with only 81 cents in the company bank account this individual had no regards towards myself or the memory of Steve Atkins. He wanted to hurt our company to the point of closure while he survived an organism comes to mind a parasite sucking the life out of Steve and I a venomous snake awaiting to strike his prey.

With the Legal path that i had taken with this individual im grateful that we had won all the cases againstinst him so that battle is over or almost over i should say because he still needs to pay back what he took. That could be a long legal process.

I have to confess because of all you wonderful people jn my life giving me hope praying for me keeping me in you thoughts giving me the strenghth to carry this burden im proud to say that today The Medics Plus rises like the Phoenix  🐦‍🔥 from the ashes our company has almost replaced all the equipment that was stolen by this individual and we will definitely be alot better off next year and the years to come. I’m a firm believer of miracles we see them every day but when you experience one like this there is no words to describe the feelings. So as I conclude this letter I want to again thank everyone for your prayers and support for our company. We are offering all of our services (training and event medical support).

Daryl says hello it will be 1 year on 6/20/2025 since I got him back from another three individuals that decided to take him from me. When I got him back he was 17 pounds underweight but now he has been back to his regular weight and I can’t believe it’s only been a year seems longer.

We had a wonderful time and opportunity to provide medical support yesterday in Oakland we had a few calls for service but all went well. Our teams performed amazingly as expected and we are grateful to announce we only had to transfer 1 to the hospital for further evaluation.
