Well, I made it 9 months into the year without having to put out an announcement like thisā¦I would like to say thatās a recordā¦but these past few years have been real doozies.
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to share this news, but we put my Grandma in hospice earlier today. She has seen a lot in her 95 years on this planet and is one of the cutest, kindest, sassiest little old ladies you could ever meet! Unlike my Momās journey last year, Gramās time here is much shorter based on the nurseās evaluation.
My Mom and Grammie were my world, and it breaks my heart, but she is ready to go be with my mom, brother and everyone who has passed before her. It was an ongoing family joke that she would outlive us all and she had 9 livesā¦she legit had 9 livesā¦no, really, Iām not kidding! =-)
So please forgive me if I have to cancel your appointments at the last minute, I will try my best to keep as many appointments as I can during this time.
Thank you for all the support, understanding, and grace you have given me these last couple of years and continue to give me today. You have no idea how much it means to me, and how it has helped me along this bumpy road these last few years.
Here is one of my favorite pictures that describes my Grammie to a T and you now understand where I get it from! =-) Cards and whiskey, what's not to love!?
