Mill Pond Dental Group would like to welcome a new associate dentist to our practice. Please welcome Dr. Evan Gallegos. He will be joining our practice in May but has already begun working some part-time hours now. Here is a little more information about Dr. Evan....
Dr. Evan R. Gallegos grew up in Illinois where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois and a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Dr. Gallegos earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. While at Tufts University, Dr. Gallegos participated in the Teachers and High School Students Program where he mentored students from underrepresented and socioeconomic disadvantaged backgrounds who were interested in becoming healthcare professionals. Dr. Gallegos continues to work in various homeless and domestic violence victim shelters, where he provides oral health education workshops to underserved patient populations. Dr. Gallegos works closely with the Will County Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center, to increase the access of dental care to underserved patients in Illinois. Dr. Gallegos is a member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. In his free time he enjoys golfing, weight lifting, and spending time with his family. 🦷

Prevent germs from spreading and change your toothbrush every 3 months! Watch out for worn bristles or bristles that are flared at the edge...this is another sign you should replace your toothbrush. An electric toothbrush head should be replaced just as often. 🦷
