I love celebrating others’ successes, & today I’m taking a moment to celebrate a few of my own from this past amazingly full week… ❤️

Early on, I had a lovely time at the First American Title holiday breakfast — thank you, First Am, for treating all the South Clackamas County/Molalla brokers to a tasty meal & such wonderful camaraderie.

On Tuesday night, I was up till the wee hours making ~14 pounds of gluten-free & traditional Venician tiramisu for Wednesday’s annual Silverton citywide progressive real estate industry lunch. Just a few hours after finally getting to bed, I hit the road to deliver keys to my awesome buyers who just purchased their new home in Hillsboro! 🏡✨

From there, I headed back home, grabbed the refrigerated desserts, & delivered them to the Bella Casa office before enjoying a lovely lunch with fellow realtors & real estate industry partners, including the awesome teams at Amerititle Silverton & Ticor Silverton.

Then I cruised up the hill to check on my listing at 500 Yapa — still beautiful & ready for the perfect buyer. 💛 Next up was meeting my Molalla seller for their signing as they also closed on their home sale this week & stepped into their next chapter.

As if that weren’t enough for one week, there were even more special moments — Bella Casa’s annual Christmas party (thanks BCREG), teaching yoga & meditation on Saturday morning to some lovely yogis, making 12 pounds of soap for gifting & trading, meeting with a newly engaged couple to tour their wedding site & share the words I’ll speak to marry them later this month, & so much more behind-the-scenes scurrying!

This week ahead *should* be a bit less full 😅 but truly, I absolutely love being part of all these events & bright, transformational milestones.

I am currently seeing many difficult endings in the lives of those around me...
Although change can be debilitating, depressing, or otherwise challenging to say the very least, within it does lie opportunity, when the time feels right, to use the experience or learning from it to reconnect with that which truly matters, to help others in similar situations, or to simply be open to the new beginnings & sunrises that always follow the endings & sunsets.

My heart is with those who are navigating loss... that they may be be open to embracing the goodness that still abounds & know how very much they are loved & Love itself.

For nearly 2 decades, I’ve been starting days sipping vibrant verdant matcha—& for many good reasons it's remained my go-to.

Unlike coffee, which I also enjoy but can spike cortisol & cause jitters or midday crash, matcha yields calm, sustained energy, thanks to amino acid, L-theanine, which promotes focus & relaxation—without sedation. This unique combo of L-theanine + caffeine is what makes matcha such a standout for mental clarity & mood.

It’s also:
🌿 Rich in Vitamin A (as beta-carotene), essential for skin health & immunity
🌿 Non-acidic, making it gentler on the gut than most coffees
🌿 Packed with additional antioxidants, like EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate), known for supporting cellular health & helping to ease inflammation.

& beyond the science, there’s a deeper ritual to it—the rhythmic whisking, the beautiful green hue, the grounding effect of the first sips as moments of mindfulness before the day really blossoms.

Living in India & Nepal opened my eyes & heart widely to the deeper essence of Yoga which is not—at all— just about sweating in a hot room, physical postures, being a fit, hardbody badass, or having the most advanced attire & gear; it’s so incredibly much more than that, &, simultaneously, so much less:

stillness, movement, breath, silence, communication, connection, meditation acceptance, release, surrender, grace,
intertwining every movement with every moment, shaping & creating truly transcendent experiences for self & others by our positive ripples…
& these are just some of the infinite possibilities & aspects which mere words words won’t ever wholly contain.

Yoga, as a holistic practice, holds powerful ability, to nurture true health of our mind & body & spirit beings, & is a gift for which I am ever grateful & honored to be able to share.
