By Appointment Only- If you do not have an appointment to float, please call before you come in to make sure we are here. Float Quad Cities has two, state of the art float rooms available. The float can be extended to 90 minutes for an extra $10. Visit FloatQC.com for information about floating, pricing information and to get your float scheduled! Floating is the art of doing nothing! You simply float in a light and sound proofed room, on 10 inches of water filled with 1,000 pounds of epsom salt. The water is around 35% salt, compared to the ocean, which is only 3%. This provides for effortless floating and relaxation. Float tanks were invented in the 1950's, and people have been using them for many years, including many professional athletic organizations. Also known as sensory deprivation or isolation tanks, floating has a ton of benefits, and more research is being done on floatation therapy everyday. Sensory deprivation sounds scary, but it is not. By giving yourself the opportunity to experience an environment free of distractions (like light and sound), your brain can relax and focus on other important things. It is not unusual for people to have huge breakthroughs during or after a float. Floating is also great for learning faster or practicing a speech or presentation. Other benefits include:
- Deeper meditation
- Faster muscle recovery
- Better sleep
- Stress reduction
- Chronic pain relief
- Relieve inflammation
- Replenish magnesium
- Improve mental clarity
- And much more...

Another amazing benefit of floating is absorbing huge amounts of magnesium through the skin. Magnesium is the "master mineral" and is critical for over 300 functions within the body. And most people are deficient. It is possible to ingest magnesium through your diet, but let's face it, most people don't eat the amount and quality of food needed to maintain optimum levels of important vitamins and minerals. Our skin is an incredibly efficient way to absorb magnesium, so you can imagine that floating in epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) is going to have huge benefits for you.

Skeptical? That's ok. Many of our BEST clients thought float therapy was a scam.

🔥🔥🔥But they tried it anyway. And discovered a whole new world of relief from...everything.

We actually have many doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors and more who float.

AND refer their clients.

This person's comment came after we suggested trying float therapy for some immediate pain relief - the common sense result of getting the pressure off your joints and muscles.

We never recommend float therapy in lieu of medical treatment, and the person we responded to was already seeking medical treatment.

The fact remains that day in and day out, along with 600+ reviews, 20,000+ floats and almost 9 years in business...our clients often come to us because nothing else is working for them.

Whenever I get comments like this, I ask...do you think that our clients that say this is the first time in 20 years they haven't felt chronic pain - haven't tried anything else?

Float therapy is simply physics. Nothing "quack" about it. There is ongoing research, and a multitude of studies over the last 70 years.

Some people use float therapy to relieve physical pain. Some mental/emotional pain. Some spiritual pain. It meets you where you're at and always gives you what you need!

Pools are out. Float Cabins are in.

With 1000x the pain, stress relief and better sleep benefits of a traditional pool, float therapy is a must in a world where your nervous system is constantly being bombarded by EVERYTHING.

The float solution in our large float cabins is only 11 inches deep...so it's like the "shallow end" every day.

Plus, they are filled with 1,100 pounds (each) of muscle soothing epsom salt.

At 35% density (we love physics over here), even your friendly neighborhood ocean, 11x less dense, struggles to keep up.

When your body is totally supported in the near zero gravity float solution, your muscle tension and pressure is allowed to dissolve.
..Along with those negative thoughts you insist on bringing with you.

So when you're talking about float therapy, make sure not to call our float cabins, "pools." It'll for sure hurt their feelings!!!!! 🤣

🫣🫣🫣Forever in the neon green hoodie, this guy is FloatQC's project manager, Jason Willis.

Remember, we are renovating the "Old Miller's Florist" building at 3615 27th St, Moline for FloatQC's future home.

Jason is running the show and...his solution to every problem is, "No worries. We'll just cut it." 🤪

In this picture, he's measuring the floor to make sure this life sized game of float tank tetris is actually going to work!

Yes, I'm just teasing him. He's a brilliant guy, and I'm glad he's running this project! Even if he's wearing the exact same hoodie every time I see him. ~Aaralyn, Owner

Cheri has been a huge supporter of FloatQC since the beginning! She loves to float, but she is a busy small business owner, so she doesn't make it in as much as she would like.

She owns a cute metaphysical/crystal shop called Obsidian and Sage - have you been there?
