GiGi's Playhouse is a one-of-a-kind achievement center for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. GiGi's Playhouse offers therapeutic and educational programs that advance literacy, math skills, motor skills and more; all of which are free of charge.

Earlier this week, Matthew joined Nate, our Executive Director, for a speaking engagement—and we couldn’t be more proud!

Matthew is in the beginning stages of becoming a trained Ambassador for GiGi’s, and he did a fantastic job at his first public outing in this new role. He spoke with confidence, heart, and authenticity—truly representing the mission of GiGi’s in the best way.

In fact, after the presentation, one of the guests turned to Nate and said, “He did way better than you.” 😊

We love seeing our participants step into leadership roles, share their stories, and shine so brightly. Way to go, Matthew! Your voice matters, and we can’t wait to see where this Ambassador journey takes you. 💙

March is just a few days away, and there are lots of great programs on the calendar here at GiGi's Playhouse Quad Cities. Below are just a few of the goals we have for each program we offer.
Goals for each GiGi’s Playhouse program:
👉Create opportunities for parent networking and provide educational tools
👉Instill high expectations for each participant to follow program routines
👉Motivate the child, parent, and volunteers to give their “Best of All” in each program
👉Deliver purposeful programming tailored for individuals with Down syndrome
👉Provide specific, therapeutic, or educational learning opportunities
👉Remove the barrier of cost for our participants by offering free programs
