Our newly hired front desk mascot Obie had some troubles with his bowels and with holding down food for about 24 hours. Knowing how important a well-functioning nervous system is, we took him to the Chiropractor first to make sure everything was ok on that end before taking him anywhere else. After his adjustment at Quad Cities Animal Chiropractic, he did not throw up again, and his bowels were working great! 🤩 Thank you for taking care of our furry friend!!☺️

This picture popped up in my memories today, and it hit me that this road is just like life!!

Life is nothing like a straight road on a map. It's not predictable, it has MANY twists and turns, and you have no idea what's around the next corner..

Even though we may want to take a short cut to faster get to where we think we are going, we pick up and learn SO many things on the way that we might need to have in our backpack when we get to the other side of the valley.

It's not always fun or enjoyable when we have to take all these extra turns, but looking back, how much more beautiful isn't it? And how much more don't we appreciate what we have and what we have accomplished?

🌷 Spring is near, and what happened to the resolutions we all had for this new year??🌷

When a new year rolls around, it is easier to find motivation to change and start something new - especially when it comes to ourselves and health.

Sometimes these changes last a week, two, or maybe even a month.. and then we tend to fall off the wagon.

So what can we do to get back on? 🤔

🧩 Don't beat yourself up because you fell off. Be nice! We don't have to start over, we get back on! ;)

🧩 Remember that we don't need a new year or new month to keep going, all we need is right NOW!

🧩 Be specific! It is easier to get to where you want to go if you have a set destination!

🧩 Start small! If you want to..
-drink more water? Start by adding one glass a day.
- lose weight? Start moving 30 minutes a day.
- eat healthier? Add vegetables you like to every meal
- sleep better? Turn off the screen a little bit earlier
- have better relationships? Spend some quality time together

We can do anything if we do it one step at the time!
