Dorothy Blanding has been nominated by Unity Bay Nursing in recognition of her commitment to provide exceptional support. When a resident was diagnosed with breast cancer, Dorothy was at every appointment, treatment, hospitalization, and surgery, offering both care and compassion.

In honor of her dedication, Pharmacist Katie Johnson from Tarrytown Pharmacy presented Dorothy with the first annual Direct Support Professional Recognition Award.
