I just wanted to stop through and encourage someone this Tuesday Morning. I've heard and seen the news about all the killings, shootings, fightings, the deaths. All the arguing, fighting back and forth on FB, Instagrams, and so forth. None of this is NEW! The Bible says it's nothing new under the sun. What's going on now, has ALWAYS been going on and yet people have made it through.
When I heard about the killing of the 8 children by the father, I cried out to the Lord, and He quickly rebuked and reminded me about His Son's birth. HE said, "Do you remember when My Son Jesus was born, the wise men tricked King Herod and he became frustrated because they couldn't find my son? King Herod ordered ALL the children under 2 years old to be put to death in and around Bethlehem? An entire city lost all of their children at one time.
HE said, "Do you remember Pharaoh ordering the midwives to kill all of the male babies that were born to the Hebrew women at birth for fear of them taking over? Do you remember the Passover, where I told death to sweep through the land and take all the first born sons of the people? These were multitudes of people taken at ONE time! Did you forget how many people died during slavery time marching for their freedom? Did you forget all the bombings and wars? How many people lost their lives all at once? How quickly you forgot about the World Trade Center? How many people lost their lives.
Get up and get yourself together. Stop questioning ME about things you cannot control as if I don't know what's going on down there. These are simply distractions of the world. You cannot control death, death is coming and it's apart of life.
I quickly got up, washed my face, and got myself together. I'm reminded that all of these things must happen and I am apart of this world but not of the world. I know it's hard and unfair, but don't allow death and other things of this world to distract you. Keep moving, keep pushing, keep striving, and keep climbing and certainly don't give up! Find someone you can talk to about what you're going through so you can get the help you need to keep pushing and moving.
Yes life is hard but other people have made it and so can we! Train your mind to think positive and not negative. Get around people who are going somewhere. Change your pattern, change your direction, even if it means, moving in another city or going to another state. Get a fresh start but keep moving.

Growing up as a child, my Mother, who raised 14 children always had us serving in some kind of capacity! To this day, all of us STILL serve in some kind of capacity! She taught us that money wasn't everything, learn to give back whether they appreciate you or NOT! She taught us that people don't have to be nice or kind, so don't take it for granted. I have tried my BEST to not only serve people and treat them right, but give back and help people!

Statistic says that business fails within the first 5 years, God has allowed GRACE FUNERAL SERVICES, be in business 11 years in APRIL! I am forever grateful to HIM and everyone who have supported us throughout these 11 years. It has NOT always been easy but it's definitely a calling on my life! I did NOT chose the Mortuary field and don't have the stories that other people have, I always knew I wanted to be a Mortician from a child, because I DIDN'T! God chose this field for ME!

What I love about the LORD, every now and then, HE will pour out blessings upon His people and allow us to glean and get price breaks so we can have some left over monies for other things in life!
