Our beloved friends gabbypendarvis and travonpendarvis are bravely facing one of the greatest fears of parenthood – their precious baby girl has suffered second and third degree burns and is currently receiving medical care in the hospital. As dedicated small business owners and new parents, they're now shouldering the emotional burden of her recovery alongside lost income and unforeseen medical expenses.

I’m taking some time off from 7/4-7/11 to visit family. I’ve got some availability between now and then and will be opening time that I don’t normally see clients to help those who want to be seen.

My schedule after 7/11 may be changing. I’m losing an instructor at Carolina School of Bodywork and if I can’t find a suitable replacement, I’ll be covering Friday classes.

This weekend I attended a training with Walt Fritz, PT/Foundations in Manual Therapy Seminars to learn some approaches in hands-on work for those who suffer from voice and/or swallowing disorders. My pal Casey Rooted Restorative was practicing one of the techniques we learned on me!

The absolute beauty of being a manual therapist is we have experienced every technique that we would try with you. I tell my clients often that bodywork should not be painful and I need your feedback to connect to whatever you are experiencing.

I’m very much looking forward to expanding my services to include those of you who are struggling with dysphagia, dysphonia, trismus, vocal and tongue tension, limitations in lip closure/movement, post-radiation/surgical scarring and more.
